MAC Up The Amp Lipstick

So this is very first MAC lipstick I have got because I just like to try out new lipsticks now and again, and MAC isn't exactly cheap. I see many bloggers and youtubers that own a lot of MAC and I was intrigued to know how good MAC actually is. I was very excited to try this lipstick out cos I do have high expectations for it. Depending on what mood I'm in, depends what colour I will have on my lips. I have recently been loving  lilac/mauve lipsticks so much!! I find the colour just so easy to wear everyday.

I love the packaging of Mac lipsticks, its so simple. The product is very pigmented and very moisturising on the lips but however nothing too special because I could find a pigmented and moisturising lipstick on the high street. I love the colour of this which I haven't seen before at Boots and I have noticed that the product lasts long on the lips too.

It might look scary just by looking at it because it looks so purple but so pretty on the lips!

Mac lipsticks cost £14 each which you could probably get two lipsticks for that price at Boots. Mac have a wide range of colours of lipsticks but I know there are cheaper duplicates on many of them but overall definitely a lovely lipstick to use. I might consider purchase another Mac lipsticks again if I see colours that stand out to me that I haven't seen before. What is your favourite MAC lipstick?

Vivo Unprotected Palette

So I have never really been into eye shadows, just mainly lipsticks. When I seen this at Tesco I just had to get it cos I do like the urban decay naked palette but no point in me wasting the money if I don't really use it. I picked this up the other day for £3 cos it was £2 off the original price which is a total bargain I must say compared to the urban decay palette for £36.

The eye shadows are very good quality and are very pigmented for the price. I love most of the colours, they just look so wearable, definitely get a lovely everyday look from these natural colours.

I know most of these eye shadows are shimmery which can be a down side for some people but I don't really mind the shimmery shadows. There are 3 matte eye shadows (escape, flutter and wisp) which are really easy to wear on lazy days or very natural looks. The only colours that I probably won't use is 'flow' and 'awaken' because it is a shimmery gold  and blue colour which is best for the special occasions and not for everyday looks.

I am so pleased I got my hands on this bargain so hopefully I can get myself into eye shadows a lot more. Another thing about the palette is that it doesn't have a mirror so it not very convenient for on the go but it does contain an eye shadow applicator which I personally don't like using them.

By the way definitely check out Tesco because the offer might still be on if you want one too!

My little NYC Lipstick Collection

I haven't tried anything else from the NYC make up apart from the lipsticks because I'm just so loving lipsticks, I just can't get enough of them. I find these lipsticks to be moisturising and affordable.

I got to say the packaging isn't that great because the lid doesn't really click on secure enough and even  more annoying is that the lipstick doesn't screw all the way down so you have to be careful when putting on the lid, that you don't chip off some of the lipstick.

From left to right- Berry Rich, Red Rapture, Lilac Dream, Blue Rose

I really love the Berry Rich lipstick because it is really wearable everyday colour and its like a mauve colour which I just love!

The quality of these lipsticks are beautiful, so pigmented, it is just so good for the price! I will definitely be buying some more of these.
They are stocked in Superdrug and only costs £1.49! Bargain aye?!

A Mini Primark Haul

So guys, this is my first little haul on my blog. I know people like to see what people buy when they go on a shopping trips so I thought I would share mine too. I had a few things in mind which I knew I needed to get, to avoid the over spending. I haven't properly shopped at Primark in ages, because I'm not a big fan of it because the quality isn't always that great and it is always so busy but thought I'd give it visit anyway after it being refurbished in Manchester.
Just thought I'd let you know the things I brought are mostly for my work placement at a nursery.

Balmi Review

I have really been loving lip products recently and I have been drawn to this product the most! The Balmi I have is in mint flavour because I don't have a minty flavour lip balm in my collection.

I really love the smooth plastic packaging of this lip balm, I just cant stop touching it! Plus the colour really indicates the flavour in mint. The shape is rather unusual but so  amazingly cool which makes it rather fun to put on the lips. In addition you are able to attach the Balmi to your key rings which helps you to carry it easily however it can come apart but that is if you pull it hard enough. The Balmi contains 10g of product so it would definitely last a long long time.

The product has this 'cooling effect' which feels really refreshing on the lips and it helps to hydrate the lips instantly. The formulation is really nice to smooth all over the lips which doesn't give a thick sticky feeling on the lips. A bonus of this Balmi is that it contains SPF 15 so definitely useful in the summer thats if there is any sunshine in the UK.

I really would recommend this product if you are looking for a lip balm because this really works to leave your lips feeling soft and hydrated. The Balmi comes in 4 different flavours mint, coconut, raspberry and strawberry. Balmi costs £4.99 at Boots  which I personally thought was a little too much for a lip balm but after trying it, I definitely think its worth it.

So what's your favourite lip balm?
