Make Up Products I Regret Buying

I thought I'd share with you the products I regret buying. What was I thinking when I brought these products. I mean they come at a good price but the product is just rubbish. So don't always be fooled by the price. That is what blogging is about, read reviews on products before you buy them, it would really help to save your money.

So here are my products I really do regret buying:

Primark Bronzing Balls
This product is awfully dark and shimmery, I really didn't know what I was thinking at that time. It is really dark and very orange toned. It just doesn't go well with my skin tone. It is great for a halloween scary look but for an everyday look, its just a no go!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Mineral Powder Foundation (Soft beige)
The product is just a few shades too dark for my skin tone. There was no sample for this at the time so just randomly picked it up. Plus there is a soft cotton application in this, which is absolutely pointless because the powder is just so hard to get out. So unscrewing the lid helps to get the product out easier but it is just very messy. So I'm going to stick to press powder rather than loose powder.

I love...Strawberries & Milkshake glossy lip balm
This product smells really nice, just like strawberries and cream but when applying on the lips, its just feels sticky and just very uncomfortable on the lips because of the thick consistency. It doesn't make the lips soft or anything but make them really glossy.

OG- Outdoor Girl Eye Light
I try to make myself like this product because it gives a lovely blue toned shimmery white colour. But when I apply it to my eyes its just feels sticky and I have oily eye lids so the two doesn't exactly go well with each other.

Natural Collection Concealer Fair
I have dark eye circles and this product does nothing at all to conceal them. It has a light consistency so it just blends into the skin with the black eye circles still showing.

Natural Collection Liquid Eye Liner
The application isn't the best because it is brush so you can see every stroke that has been made. The formulation isn't very pigmented and doesn't last very long either. The price is inexpensive so for the price, you get what you pay for.

They were the  products I regret buying, so what products do you regret buying?
Thanks for reading!!

Palmers Cocoa Butter Review

Finally I'm back to blogging after having to get my uni portfolio out of the way!

Well I heard a few raves about this product so I thought I would give it a try because I'm beginning to love body butters especially Soap and Glory's righteous butter.

I actually find this a lovely product to use. Of course the scent of this is just amazing, it reminds me of vanilla haagen dazs ( my favourite ice cream!) whereas my sister actually hates the smell of this, I mean who doesn't love the smell of ice cream! So now I have 2 bottles of this because she doesn't like the scent of it. The scent of this is sweet and lingers around on the skin for a while too which I don't mind, but for some it might.

The product says it helps to 'soften, smoothes and relieves dry skin' which I totally agree. My skin is left so hydrated and so soft, it is definitely ideal for those who suffer from dry skin.

The formulation isn't too heavy or too light, but the perfect consistency however I would prefer the product to be in a tub rather than a bottle, because it is hard to squeeze it out unless you leave the bottle placed upside down. The product just sinks beautifully into the skin and the formulation isn't sticky either.

I'm not sure about if it does 'tones skin or smoothes marks' because I mainly use this for dry skin on my arm and legs.

I do recommend this product because I find it a dream to use so I would buy it again, you can get it everywhere- supermarkets, Boots and Superdrug. It costs around £3.60, it isn't expensive so definitely worth a try if your looking for a body butter.

So tell me whats your favourite body butter?

Tesco Vitamin E Eye Cream Review

I found this at Tesco so I thought I'd give it a go because I haven't tried an eye cream containing vitamin e before. I wonder if it is any different...

When I first tried this product I thought it was quite nice to apply around the eye area but it is  little greasy tho. I didn't really feel like it did much apart from moisturise my eyes. There isn't much of a scent to this product so quite plain.

The product contains vitamin e and SPF 15 which is a bonus but for winter the sun hardly appears. I prefer to use this product when I sleep because of it being moisturising, it helps to moisturise my eyes over night so that they feel hydrated in the morning. I wouldn't really buy it again because it didn't do much to my eyes.

It costs around £2 at Tesco, for that price, you get what you pay for really.
